Dallas was our main destination. It was not as tiring as our Colorado trip, so everything went okay til we arrived at our hotel. Dallas is a great place. It is somewhat like a "little Chicago downtown" to me. Our hotel is just on the middle of Dallas downtown, so everything else is accessible including food. And you know, food is always my weakness, hehe...Urban market is just across the street, and there, I discovered their great-tasting Ceasar's salad that I've ever tasted in my life. It's super tasty. Too bad, hubby doesn't like it, because of the anchovy taste.
We did had a great fun meeting my friend (also my kababayan) in Burkburnett which was 2 1/2 hours drive from Dallas, but we didn't mind. It was worth it, together with the super delicious food that they prepared! The weather there was as hot as the Philippines, so I felt I was in the Phils. for a few hours!

Atlanta was our main destination during the entire trip. I can say this is the only place most widely visited by me and my husband. We went there twice, the first one made me so excited because i was looking forward to the July 4th big event...the fireworks! Well, it rained during that night so no fireworks! I was devastated...some areas did it but that was after the rain later in the night. We were not able to go and see it however.
But being in Atlanta twice, various attractions visited were the Atlanta aquarium, zoo, the world of coca-cola 6 flags over georgia & CNN tour.
I couldn't believe that day when we went to 6 flags, it was super hot and went as high as 98F. I almost feel like fainting the day I arrived in the hotel. My husband & I almost were flat on bed and had no dinner..LOL!
But overall, the trip was entirely full of fun and worth it.

We didn't get the chance to go around Pittsburgh much, but we had a great time with some friends (mostly Craig's coworkers from SSA).
However, we were able to go and visit the Duquesne Incline. It was just a quick dropping by before going back home to Maryland.
On the other hand, Longwood Gardens was a good place worth visiting. Their fireworks display was great, alternated by colorful fountains. Unluckily, we were not able to get a good shot for the colorful fountains, not unless you have that special camera. So, we only got some shots on the fireworks.
Aside from the fireworks, we also visited the entire garden. The most attractive for me was the topiary garden, wherein the trees were shaped in different angles. Quite unique to me!

This is one of the exciting place I had regarding our travel trips because I had met my cousins and relatives there. It was fun although time was limited. We only had 4 days mostly for Craig's work related appointments, but we had at least a day free to see them. So far, this is one of the trips worth remembering...

Maryland is a beautiful place. The place I called home in the US. It may not be as big as other US states, but still proud of its various beauties. A lot of places still to visit, but I can say I have all the chance to take time going around. Afterall, this is my beloved home.

Our trip itinerary was exhausting, which was BWI-Detroit-Denver. Our main destination was Denver. We both got the altitude sickness, which were headache, nausea & shortness of breath at times. I felt it only on our first day but Craig had it the entire duration of our trip. We were not aware it was an altitude sickness, until they told us the real reason of it. We were at least 6,000 ft. above sea level, and the more we go up the moun tains, the more the symptoms were.
On the other hand, our tours were still full of fun as usual. Our trip to Red Rocks was great! The more you go around the place the more you would appreciate the wonders of God's nature. I love our shots at the amphitheater. It was all worth it!
